You can never have too much interview questions. What is the biggest mistake you’ve made, and what is your goal for next year? You could be reporting on a family’s struggle with an affordable child care subsidy or a product launch. You’re hired to cover news for all these stories, so you should know your job well. However, a journalist might ask another question and then break off into another story. It’s important to find ways to get more of your audience interested in the stories you’re currently covering.
(Hint: It’s not journalism. It’s storyboarding.) Try to make your interview with a professional journalist as believable as possible, by using a subject that you’re investigating, such as an adorable baby in the family or an emerging tech company.
