In case you missed it, the local news anchor is going to be making $100,000 this year. It’s not the highest pay you’ll ever see, but it’s still not a bad number considering the fact that she’s also a parent and has a child in the family.
The local news anchor is a tough job. The average salary for a full time news anchor is $51,000, but the local news anchor is in a very different position than a reporter at a newspaper is. A newspaper reporter has to answer to a higher authority than a local news anchor does. In the case of the local news anchor, she’s got the authority of the highest level of government and is therefore able to demand that things be done her way.
If she doesn’t like the way something is being done, she will just do something else. The local news anchor has no power to change things, so she has no option but to just do what the powers that be demand. And that’s why she gets to keep her job.
When it comes to local news, the top-tier news anchors aren’t exactly the type of people you typically see as the type of people who would make some of the most money in the world. But that doesn’t mean these people aren’t worth it.
The local news anchor is one of the most important players in any media industry because her job is to report on the events happening in your town. If you’re not willing to pay her $10 an hour to cover your town for a few days, she is wasting her time. Even if you’re only paying her $10 an hour, you still need someone on the air who can report on the things happening in your town.
The big news is that you won’t be able to afford to hire a local news anchor. That’s just a few of the big news stories of the day. This is the kind of story that happens every day in our local newspaper, so we at the Center for Investigative Journalism, along with a bunch of other journalists, have been doing research on various city government employees to see just how much they earn. Based on the salaries of the city employees, our research found that the newspaper’s salary is actually on par with the federal government. In fact, the local newspaper’s salary is the highest of any city government agency.
The city council salaries, though, are a little more interesting. We found that the council members get paid about 40% more than the federal government. The city council members are also the highest paid city government employees, so we believe they’re making more money than the federal government should be.
I’m not sure how to feel about this. As a member of the public, I’m used to seeing the federal government pay more than the local government when they’re both run by the same person. However, this is the local government, run by the same person, that has an average salary of $100,000 compared to the federal government’s $130,000.
I don’t know if this is a direct result of the higher salaries or if it’s just a reflection of the larger economy. It could also have something to do with the fact that the federal government is usually less likely to fire people for making it to the top of their profession.
