This is not only about the content of the blog post, but also the writing. A story written in such a way that it is really important to the reader is going to be a very entertaining and informative read.
It’s so easy to get lost in a story and forget that the author is just like you. The same goes for the author of a blog. If the writer has a passion for their topic, then it will be a lot more likely that the readers of their blog will share that passion, and you don’t need to do a lot of reading to find out what that passion is. Blogs are about the writing, not the content.
In this light, it is clear that the idea that a blog is merely a personal site that is going to tell the story of your life is a mistake. It is also clear that the “story” of a website (or blog) is not about your life but about your opinions. A blog will not give you the kind of information that a reader needs to know in order to get the best overall impression possible.
Most people who are interested in writing blogs know a little bit about blogging. However, they may not know a lot about what goes into creating a good blog. To be a successful blogger you have to be smart with your words and with your audience. If you do not have that smart edge, you are going to suffer as a blogger.
