If you’ve never heard of a “best waifu in under 10 minutes” or “WTF is a WTF Waifu?” this has to be the most entertaining and informative YouTube series that I’ve ever seen. I’ve created the channel to help students improve their skills as well as entertaining people around the world. I have three videos in this series all of which have been inspired by the works of manga artist Kaohsin Lee.
The series focuses on ‘takoyaki’: a style of Japanese sushi that has become particularly popular among celebrities and high society. Takoyaki chefs make the sushi ingredients shine with gold and silver shine. The raw fish and rice are then cooked at high temperatures for an intense flavor. For this reason, many takoyaki is labeled ‘golden’ and ‘black gold,’ making this method the ideal method to achieve the desired result.
Soak the tuna and set it aside for one hour. It is best to use a long thin utensil when cooking takoyaki and pour warm water into the bowl to give the tuna a good chance to soak up the oil in the water before moving to the next step.
This is the first of three of my takoyaki videos. When I first launched the channel I found myself bored with these traditional recipes and I wondered why these dishes were popular. I asked for a different type of takoyaki by combining a Japanese roll filled with takoyaki and cucumber with a savory soy sauce and sesame oil to the traditional method (see pictures) and the results surprised me.
The takoyaki method (or the classic and modern version which is a great technique for cooking fish) creates a sushi pattern of alternating golden and blackgold color. The first two ingredients (tuna, cucumber) are dipped in cold water and the next ingredients (sesame oil, soy sauce, sesame seeds)are slowly added to slowly cook. When the ingredients begin to thicken, turn on a wok.
