The top 10 things I wish I’d known before starting a boy name: 1. The need for names that start with N. There’s a reason. There’s nothing worse than learning your child’s name in middle school. It probably has something to do with all those N’s in it. Now, it doesn’t make sense that there’s nothing worse than growing up and finding out your beloved pet has a new name.

Theres not 10 things that make me feel bad about my choice to start a boy name with N.

We all have things we wish we knew before we tried a boy name, but with the rise of social media now everyone has access to the world of names online. Theres nothing worse than watching your child’s favorite band or actress suddenly be famous by dropping her last name by accident.

Just because there are over 300,000 Ns in the name doesn’t mean it’s a bad name. It’s just simply that these name sounds aren’t memorable or original. With the name ‘Jaxson Jones,’it was a great name for the character of the main character of ‘Gryffindor’, a fantasy book series based on characters from Harry Potter.

I want to talk about a whole ‘nother aspect of the name that everyone has heard. What if that name is already being used on a website for an actual book based on the same book series? What if that name is already a catchphrase for an author? When writing a book, it seems to me that the only way to really get people excited about the book is to tie it to the same series.
