NX1300 series voice activation speakers from Altec Lansing allow you to access core features by simply saying a command. Oftentimes, instead of taking your hands off the wheel or stopping on a dime, you can quickly and easily turn down the radio, change stations, or start playing your favorite playlist with absolutely no additional input.
The series also includes auto-pause capability which allows you to control the time duration of music playback as well as set up automated tasks such as “watch TV” or “make Xbox fun.” This is great for when company comes over; anyone sitting in front of the speaker can watch TV without having to break out their own device.

Automotive Bluetooth Smart Ready – connect your phone to the speaker through an adaptor kit.
Bluetooth Technology – NFC (Near Field Communication) technology allows you to automatically link your speaker with most devices, including most smartphones and tablets, without any additional effort. Connections made via Bluetooth default to Hands-Free mode.
Streaming Audio Profile (A2DP) – streams stereo audio wirelessly from most Android™ smartphones and tablets. Compatible streaming apps include Music, Radio, Videos, and Internet Radio players. Note: Not compatible with iPhone or iPad devices for streaming audio content; requires a third-party application for iOS 6 or above with custom aptX codec.
Hands-Free Profile (HFP) – stream and receive calls and other notifications through your car’s audio system.
Voice Activation – simply speak commands to play music, make calls, change volume, and more.
Auto-Pause – automatically pauses your media when you turn off the car or exit the vehicle. Once you are ready to start listening again, simply say “resume.”
Auto Bluetooth Pairing – connects to paired devices automatically when they are in the range of the speaker.
USB Charge Port – charge devices with an up to 3 Amp charge rate through a USB port.
Music Control for Your Smartphone: Control Music Right from the Speaker. Turn track details and select tracks and artists on most smartphones with Android 4.2 or higher and iOS 8 or higher through simple voice commands and music recognition technology.
Voice Action (Android Only) and Voice Action (iOS and Android) – with the free Altec Lansing Mobile App you can voice control music playback from your smartphone. The app also allows you to create customized voice commands for your speaker as well as set up automated tasks such as “watch TV” or “turn up the volume.”
Text-to-Speech – using a text-to-speech engine, the speaker will read out personal, customizable messages from a connected smartphone. This is useful for hands-free communication, emails, and news updates.
Alarm Clock – set an alarm on a connected smartphone or tablet and stream it through the speaker.
Voice-Activated Recording: Record Your Favorite Shows and Sit Back and Watch. Pause and rewind live TV and video on most Smart TVs and video game consoles just by saying “Watch” or “Pause” to the speaker.
Playback Features: Playback is not always as easy as pressing play, so simple commands such as “Start Radio” play music from any source, such as your favorite Internet radio site, FM radio, CD, USB drive, or even your phone.
