It’s hard to know if Dan stayed on budget or not. He seemed like he had a lot of fun, but it is unclear as to how much money he spent. It could have been more expensive than he planned for, or less expensive.
However, the question may never be answered because there are no records left behind! The quick answer is no. He may have had a great time, but he knows that there are many more fun and exciting adventures to come!
Hopefully next year Dan will be able to stay on budget for the big trip. Some people might say yes because he seemed like he was having as much of a blast as possible in Norway with his friends without getting into too much debt or spending all of his money.
He could also have not spent any money at all while traveling through Europe – it’s hard to know for sure what happened during these three months. It seems unlikely though since everyone needs some sort of income when they travel outside their country. The best thing you can do is ask him if he stayed on budget this Christmas
