It’s a beautiful day and you’re relaxing outside with your favorite beverage. Suddenly, it starts to rain! You panic and start looking around for cover from the raindrops.

 

But wait, didn’t I see someone on TV using one of those cool shrink wraps?

Now that I think about it, they were in a movie too! They had them all over their house during a hurricane to protect everything inside from water damage. If they work so well against hurricanes, then surely they would also work for protecting my drink from getting wet right now..

This blog post is all about how shrink wraps are an integral part of air technology that has been used throughout history to solve many different problems. We’ll discuss why we use these products, what their properties are, and also how to use them.

People have been using shrink wraps for centuries because of the various ways that they can be used. For instance, in 1630, a scientist named Francis Bacon tried to cover his house with harpspanners (large cloths) soaked in pitch or tar so as to keep out rainwater. This was an early example of people trying new things just like we do today!

He didn’t invent it but he helped improve upon existing technology from the time period which is awesome too!
