This is a blog about Ryan Whitney wife. Ryan graduated from Harvard in 2002 and was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2003. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2006 and went on to play for the Carolina Hurricanes, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, and finally for the Anaheim Ducks once again before retiring in 2013. This blog is about all of his moments with his wife through his professional hockey career. How did they meet? Read on!
1. Ryan Whitney was born on January 23, 1984 in Boston Massachusetts. He played for the Colorado College and the Harvard University Crimson hockey teams. In May 2002 he signed with the Anaheim Ducks and made his debut with them in 2003
2. His wife Jennifer was working as a waitress at a club called The Office in Agawam, Massachusetts when she met him for the first time in 2003. This is a photo of Jennifer that Ryan sent to her after their first first date:
3. When Ryan’s career started taking off, he bought an apartment on West 57th Street in Manhattan and invited Jennifer to move there with him. They got married on July 9, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City
4. In 2009, Ryan and Jennifer had their first daughter named Mary
5. In April 2013, Jennifer gave birth to their second child, another daughter, who they named Ruthie. Ryan and Jennifer are currently living in Orange County CA with their two daughters
6. In his free time, Ryan likes to travel with his family and golf. His favorite golfer is Phil Mickelson!
