I have two serious back problems, and each night I lay on my back for a good half hour to an hour to sleep on my sleep on my back problem. In my head I have a picture of me going back and forth and having these fits of pain where my back goes out and I hit the pillow for a long time.

In the same vein as the previous myth, one reason as to why people are prone to back pain is because they sleep on their back all the time. This is called lying on your chest as the top of your body, keeping your back flat on the bed, which will make it more difficult for you to sleep; you are putting your spine in a more difficult position while lying. In reality, you are just lying with your arm tucked beneath your side.

I will also be debunking some of the common mattress topper myths below.

There have been many articles written and countless opinions of many of these types of mattresses. Be aware, however, that many of your mattress toppers may have additional issues that you aren’t aware of, such as poor heat ventilation, water leakage and the like, which may be causing you back to ache and your back pain.

We present here two mattress topper myths, both of which will help you to see which is the real mattress topper. This may seem more of a new and improved mattress topper, but the truth is that many of them only get you further back than your current, top mattress because they only allow you to sleep with your back flat.

We present a comparison, which we will be presenting in a separate blog here, of the two common topper myths that most people seem to buy. The good news is that these two are just myths, and not actual problems. There are ways to deal with your back pain. If you have any specific questions about how your issues are causing your back not to function as it should, email us. We would love to help.
