Recently during the last week I received a number 14 notice from email saying that I owed 3.5 million dollars or a debt of 14000 dollars to one of their suppliers. It came through my account that I don’t have the money yet, but in the mail was a bunch of documents with a copy of a signed form and notarized by a well known attorney for 3.5 million dollars.
The first thing that immediately comes to mind is that this is a serious error that was made. My understanding was that I have 3.5 million dollars in my account and they only have the right amount which I can pay them or I can pay what is in my account or I can let them have more funds if they ask. I did the latter. New blog: This is an entirely new idea for them that i believe was made by the lawyer.
I think we can also say that in the case of a serious error such as this, you are probably going to be called on to help out. Do you know what I mean? I believe you are going to be asked to give legal advice.
If I get this note, I think you are going to be amazed. The question is what and why? In the case of a serious error, you would do everything in your power to help them to recover the money for their loss and then we come to the question of ‘What is going to happen now?’ In this case, the answer to the question ‘What will happen now?’ is: They will call me.
It was a nice little note. It was also a little bit of an apology, but I want you to know that I did not mean to leave out that you owed 3.5 million dollars or anything like that.
If you think that writing is easy, then try having a serious error in your life. You can’t write because you need to pay someone money. This is just an exception to the rule. I think most writers out there can relate. Old blog: I would suggest that you do it. If you don’t, no one can do it with you.
