I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with competitive gaming. I played some competitive games, but the rest didn’t really get me hyped. I’ve always had a deep passion for storytelling, and I’m not ashamed to tell you that when I saw the trailer, I was excited to see a game where I could do that. I’ve always dreamed of something with characters that I could actually root for rather than hate. But in Skyrim, I just had to check it out.
That didnt change my mind. It really got me hyped! I cant wait to play it. I found myself loving a game where I could actually root for a character that I actually cared about. I didnt play a single race the first time so I dont really know who Im rooting for, but its Im definitely going to.
Im a huge racing enthusiast and Im definitely interested in doing races, but i also wanted to try a story-based game because Ive always dreamed of doing something different in a genre where i didnt expect to like it. Ive never played a game in the car genre before so that was both reassuring and exciting. I liked the fact that you could explore the different paths, and not just follow cars.
Ive been hearing a lot lately that people love cars, but its hard to believe. If it even makes you wonder, look to games like Gran Turismo and Grand theft Auto. In their respective open-world games, you build a car and cruise around the roads searching for that one perfect car. In a racing game, you create your car and drive it around.
While I love the cars, I really liked the exploration. You chose a number of paths and chose your routes through the world. You drove forward and back to pick up items depending on the path you chosen. You had to think a bit and be more specific with what you didnt want to take. I liked this because it forced you to think. You didnt just drive around as if you could.
Theres an awesome game called Dragon Age: Inquisition and im excited by this title. It really has this feel to it.You can choose your character, race a horse, pick up a few things, explore areas and have a huge amount of options for your adventures just like in Diablo 3. You can even play a game called Dark Souls which looks just as great but if you think its too dark then that makes it sound a bit wrong.
