If you were one of the 12 idiots who spent almost 2,000 characters writing your first letter or starting a sentence in a long name, then we all would be in much need of some advice. This is a lesson about learning to edit your writing. You shouldn’t write, edit, edit again, or even continue doing something you’re already doing. That just doesn’t do it for anyone.

You need a name, and you need a life. If these two things are not in sync, then things are going astray. We all need a second or third name. And we all have other responsibilities.

It’s time to name your projects after things we love. For example, I love to surf, but I’d rather not name myself after an ocean. If you find yourself doing some of your own writing for a change then this can be an easy transition. In fact, I use this as a daily reminder to remind myself to write. You will get better and smarter with practice. I hope you follow along with our tips here.

To ensure every word and idea is being used for the best possible outcome, be sure to follow through with the most important things. For example, writing the title in capital letters every time was probably a bad idea. Why? We all know from experience that a good title contains all essential information and does not leave itself open to misinterpretation. The title needs to be as concise as possible and also as memorable as something on our mind.
