Goldmine Software was an idea spawned in 2012, when its creator, Christoph Hahn (who is currently at Google) wanted to create a more effective way for users to search for any application through their web browsers. Goldmine Software had great success in several industries like eCommerce, Traveling, and Bikes. This success was due to its ability to allow users to search for information not only through the website but also through smartphones, tablets and laptops.
In 2011 Goldmine Software went public, to the market of the US. As a result, Goldmine Software has been named among the top 100 startups in the world (as of May 2015). In 2010, this Swiss development company had the honor of receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
